English: Russian Federation award of the Defense Ministry. Badge of Honor "For Distinction in Battlefield Research 1st class. Instituted on 4 December 2007 by Ministerial Order 55. Awarded to military and civilian personnel of the armed forces for outstanding personal contribution to the establishment of the names of the dead and the fate of missing servicemen and active involvement in research for not less than three years with significant results.
