English: 1969 AMX, a two-seat GT sport coupe made by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This "muscle car" has the 343 "Go Package" that included the 343 cu in (5.6 L) high-compression 4-bbl V8 280 hp (209 kW; 284 PS) V8 engine, racing stripes, power front disk brakes, Twin-Grip rear differential, Magnum 500 wheels with trim ring, E70x14 red-stripe performance tires, and other high-performance components. This car is finished in "Castilian Gray" metallic (paint code P63) and red "Go Pac" stripes. Photograph taken as this car was returning from a fun drive down the drag strip during the Potomac Ramblers automobile club's 2011 "All AMC Drag Race Day" held at the Capitol Raceway, an NHRA sanctioned, a 1/4 mile asphalt and concrete drag strip located in Crofton, Maryland. |
