English: A spectacular and breathtaking ride.
The Peak-2-Peak Gondola linking Whistler peak with Blackcomb peak 2.8 mile (4.5 km) across the Fitzsimmon's Valley. To the right of the tower the longest unsupported gondola run in the world - 1.8 miles (2.9 km) - is visible. This is the view from the Blackcomb side looking back at Whistler mountain. The tower in the frame is the second of the two Blackcomb towers before the drop into the valley. There are only two other towers on the Whistler side. At the botton of the cable drop in the picture you are 1400 feet above the valley floor and almost a mile from the closest tower.
