Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --GavinoGavv (talk) 04:59, 14 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

This page is not promoting a person/company. That is not the sole intention of this article. I have taken facts about this music artist from news articles and other sources to find the information relating to the person in question. It is simply like any other Wikipedia entry for artists like Taylor Swift, P!nk, etc. I believe that based on my resources given, this should not be speedily deleted and should not be declined access into Wikipedia’s database.

Speedy deletion removed edit

@Harshil169: You have reverted my removal of the speedy deletion with the edit summary: "If you want to contest against this speedy deletion then use talk page but don't remove template without discussion." You appear to be a fairly new Wikipedia editor. Perhaps you are not familiar with the guidelines for speedy deletion. WP:SPEEDY states: "The creator of a page may not remove a speedy deletion tag from it. Only an editor who is not the creator of a page may do so." The speedy deletion notice itself says "If this draft does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice".
I am not the creator of the article. I do not believe that the draft meets the criteria for speedy deletion, and I explained that in my edit summary "Speedy deletion removed - not dependent on a non-existent page, not entirely promotional, other issues can be addressed by editing".
I am removing the speedy deletion tag again. Please do not revert it. I don't know why you would want to anyway - the page is a draft, it is not in the mainspace of Wikipedia. It has been resubmitted, so another AfC reviewer will consider it. If it is declined again, and remains a draft, it would be deleted after 6 months of inactivity anyway.
