From my talk:

hey can you please approve the page for Ciera Rogers? you denied it because we included 2 social media reference links which are now fixed. everyday more drafts are added ahead of ours instead of vice versa. It's been weeks

I believe you misunderstand my decline message. Both the templated standard message and my hand crafted message are important. Read up on WP:RS paying attention to user generated content. Social media stars can't pass our WP:GNG based only on instagram follower count (which can be faked by the way) and mentions in blog posts. You need some hard coverage in editorially controlled media. You look into that and I'm going to let another reviewer weigh in. Legacypac (talk) 02:19, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

There are a ton of fashion designers who have Wikipedia pages, many whose clothing has never been worn regularly by the Kardashians. Ciera has been featured in Fashion Bomb Daily, Madamenoire, Black Enterprise and Galore just to name a few. those are legitimate media outlets. I wasn't trying to get her page for being an instagram star, I was trying to get a page set up for her as a model and fashion designer. I simply mentioned she had a large following on Instagram.

Here are just a few examples of fashion designers who wikipedia pages were approved for far less notoriety

See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Hey if you don't like the feedback or the fact the backlog of requests takes time to work through, there is another solution. Articles for Creation is an optional process. If you feel the page is ready move of yourself. Even if one of us approves it it may still be subjected to a deletion discussion. Legacypac (talk) 02:38, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure how to do that I just googled AFC and couldn't figure it out. what code do I put in the draft (if any) to have it go straight to the public space?

Christinagirgis (talk) 02:48, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

WP:AFC is just a volunteer project where we help newer users create new pages. I don't recomment new users create pages as it is one of the harder skills at Wikipedia to master. To Move a page look on the toolbar for More, select Move and select Article for the namespace. The page then goes through new page review. Legacypac (talk) 02:56, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Can you please not move it to the main space yet? I’m going to wait for more press links of hers to come out if you think they wont approve it Christinagirgis (talk) 03:20, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

I'm not going to move it. Did you declare your WP:COI? Legacypac (talk) 03:37, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

There is no COI. I'm follow her on instagram and I'm a fan and thought she deserved a page so I created one (unsigned)

Ok good. I read your comment as knowing there was some upcoming press, which only a closely connected person would know about. I encourage you to try editong some existing pages and get a feel for things. It's fun. Legacypac (talk) 04:22, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I only knew that because she mentioned it on her social media. can you also tell me how I can get a photo of her up? I tried Flickr even photos that said for public domain and they were still removed. thanks so much for your help (unsigned)

I don't do images. Drives me nuts. Try asking at WP:Teahouse. Also you need to sign your posts with four "~" then we can see who posted what. Legacypac (talk) 05:00, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
User:Christinagirgis - Are you working for Ciera Rogers? Are you Ciera Rogers? Please read the conflict of interest policy. Robert McClenon (talk) 15:34, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Robert you were not asked to enter this conversation, and repeat questions already answered

Christinagirgis (talk) 20:16, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Anyone is welcome to join the conversation. Robert is another respected reviewer. Christina is a fan of the subject and said no WP:COI. The subject is plausibly notable or on the way there. Best to ice this Draft for a bit and see. Legacypac (talk) 23:01, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
