Moses Wood is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns[1] of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on an exhibit 10 contract.[2][3] Wood played five seasons of college basketball for Tulane, Portland Pilots, UNLV and the Washington Huskies.[4][5] He shot .421/.396/.871 and appeared in all of the Huskies' 32 games last season as a fifth-year senior. His college career averages were 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists, 44.1% shooting overall and 40.4% on three-pointers.[6] He played in the 2024 NBA Summer League for the Atlanta Hawks.[5][7]
On 18 January 2024, he hit a game winning corner 3-pointer beat the buzzer to give the Huskies a 77-75 win over the California Golden Bears.[2]
He was born on May 3, 1999 in Reno, Nevada.[8] He is the son of David and Angela Wood. He has two older brothers (Caleb and Josiah) and one younger brother (Isaac).[9]

He was rated a three-star recruit and the No. 5 prospect in Nevada by ESPN.com and ranked No. 224 overall in the class of 2018 by 247Sports.com. He played at Galena High School in Carson City, Nevada under head coach Brian Voyles.[11]
