Central District (Firuzeh County)

The Central District of Firuzeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان فیروزه) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Is capital is the city of Firuzeh.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Taghenkuh District and Takht-e Jolgeh District were separated from Nishapur County in the establishment of Firuzeh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Firuzeh as its capital.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 21,513 people in 6,273 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 20,787 inhabitants in 6,481 households.[2]
