This category includes articles on football clubs in Germany that were part of the workers' sports associations Arbeiter-Turn- und Sportbund (ATSB, en:Workers' Gymnastics and Sports Federation) or Kampfgemeinschaft für Rote Sporteinheit, which were active through the 1920s and into the early 1930s until banned by the Nazis as politically undesirable in 1933. Both organizations staged football competitions and championships separate from that of the DFB (Deutscher Fußball Bund, en:German Football Association).
Many of these clubs are now part of the historical tradition of currently active associations or, despite being banned, were reestablished in the aftermath of World War II.
