The British Neuroscience Association (BNA) is a scientific society with around 1,800 members. When first established in the 1960s it was called the Brain Research Association, and was subsequently relaunched as the BNA in 1997.
Besides publishing a scientific journal, the BNA offers a variety of benefits to members, including discounts on books and reduced registration fees for meetings. In addition the society produces the BNA Bulletin magazine for members and hosts a range of events, including a large biennial meeting, the BNA Festival of Neuroscience.
The BNA is a registered Charity (#1103852).
