Beach, Please! Festival

Beach, Please! Festival is an annual music festival held in the seaside resort of Costinești, Romania. First organized in 2022,[2] the festival features Romanian and international artists performing genres such as hip-hop, trap, electronic, and pop. It takes place on the coast of the Black Sea and attracts attendees from both Romania and abroad.

2022

The first edition of the festival took place in 2022 in the seaside resort of Costinești. The main Romanian artists that performed were: Puya, Deliric, Connect-R, Grasu XXL, Killa Fonic, Ian, Oscar, Nane, Azteca, Amuly and Bvcovia. Other performing acts included Rava, Albert NBN, Bibi, Mario Fresh and Johny Romano, among others. The event was attended by approximately 35,000 people over the course of the festival.[3]

2023

The second edition of the festival took place in 2023, continuing to be held in Costinești, Romania. It marked the first year that international artists were included in the lineup, alongside Romanian performers. Headlining acts included American rappers 6ix9ine, DaBaby, and British artist Central Cee. Other international performers featured during the festival were NLE Choppa and Sfera Ebbasta.

The Romanian lineup included artists such as Macanache, Killa Fonic, Ian, Oscar, Rava, Nane, and Amuly. The festival maintained a focus on urban and trap music, with performances spread across multiple stages on the beach and in designated areas throughout the resort.

Attendance for the 2023 edition increased significantly compared to the previous year, with an estimated 150,000 participants across all days of the festival.[4]

2024

The third edition of the festival was held in 2024 in Costinești, Romania. The event featured a mix of international and Romanian artists, continuing the festival’s focus on trap, hip-hop, and urban music. The festival headliner was American rapper Travis Scott. Other international names included Anitta, Wiz Khalifa, Trippie Redd, Don Toliver, Yeat, 6ix9ine, Ice Spice, Swae Lee, French Montana, Rich Amiri, Lil Tjay, Gucci Mane, NLE Choppa, Lil Pump, Rich the Kid, Rick Ross, Dhurata Dora.

Among the Romanian performers were Killa Fonic, Ian, Oscar, Nane, Rava, Amuly, Bvcovia, and Azteca, along with several emerging artists from the local trap scene.

The 2024 edition recorded a new attendance record, with over 300,000 participants throughout the duration of the festival. According to organizers, the event had a total budget of €7 million, making it one of the largest urban music festivals in Europe.[5]
