Al Hujayl is a town in Iraq. It is located east of River Tigris and north east of Al-Shirqat on the western banks of the river. It was captured by ISIL in the 2014 Northern Iraq Offensive and was recaptured by the Iraqi government forces during the Hawija offensive in September, 2017.
