A.J. Howard (born December 23, 1995) is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).[1] He played college football at Appalachian State.[2]

Professional careerEdit

Arizona CardinalsEdit

On April 30, 2018, Howard was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent.[3] He was waived on September 1, 2018.[4]

New York GiantsEdit

On October 25, 2018, Howard was signed to the New York Giants practice squad.[5] He was released on January 2, 2019.[6]

New England PatriotsEdit

On January 8, 2019, Howard was signed to the New England Patriots practice squad.[6] Howard won Super Bowl LIII after the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on February 5, 2019.[7]
