On 13 March 2020, Guinea's first confirmed COVID-19 case was reported. A Belgian national who is an employee of the European Union delegation in Guinea has tested positive for COVID-19.[2][3]

Confirmed cases doubled from 8 to 16 on 29 March 2020.[4]
