There seems to be an error: The yellow thread only appears in front of the hook. 92.226.100.213 (talk) 23:33, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

No, that is correct. If the hook passed through the loop it would tangle on the shaft that drives the hook. The hook must pull the loop over the bobbin, then the loop must come off the hook the same way that it went on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.144.120 (talk) 07:59, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is an error. As the hook pulls the loop over the bobbin, the yellow thread (the part of the loop connected to the needle) suddenly appears in front of the of the back part of the hook. That wouldn't physically happen. For reference, here's an image of two different frames of the animation. As you can see by looking at the yellow thread indicated by the arrows, one part of the loop is on the other side of the hook (left) but then suddenly both sides of the loop are in front of the hook (right).
