Zagori (Greek: Ζαγόρι) is a municipality in the Gjirokastër District, Gjirokastër County, southern Albania. The municipality consists of the villages Sheper, Nivan, Nderan, Koncke, Hoshteve, Bithyq, Zhej, Lliar.
During World War I and the Democracy Period (1990-2010), many families, both of Albanian and Greek origin left the area. .[1][2]
