According to the Qur'an, Ya'uq (Arabic يعوق) was a deity worshipped in the days of Noah. Cults worshipping this idol existed in Muhammad's day as well.
And they say: By no means leave your gods, nor leave Wadd, nor Suwa'; nor Yaghuth, and Ya'uq and Nasr. (Qur'an 71:23)
