WorldSkills London 2011

WorldSkills London 2011 was the 41st World Skills competition. It took place between 5-8 October 2011 at ExCeL London. It was the largest event ever to be held at the venue.[1]

150,000 expected visitors will see 1,000 competitors from 50 countries/regions competing in 45 skill areas over four days of competition.

London secured the right to host WorldSkills 2011 in a bid process held at WorldSkills Calgary 2009 supported by the Lord Mayor of London.[2]

Leipzig, in Germany, will host the 42nd WorldSkills Competition in 2013.[3]
