Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Islam/Shi'a Islam task force/Theology articles

  • Made some work on it, removed most of the text from Shia and added it there, lets have one liners in the Shia article, overviews in the Roots articles, and the whole thing in the appropiate articles. Comments? --Striver 22:50, 29 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

This neither tells Shia do combine prayers, nor that Sunnis do not, nor that Bukhari says it ok, nor that Sunnis dont know it.

I aim to prove that Hadith-i ghadir or/and Hadith of Thaqalayn are the most wittnesed events, using evidence from here.

Then i aim to creat a section in the Hadith article named "notable hadith".

In it, i aim to have the following sections:

  • hadith with most first hand narrators. (one of the two mentioned, or both)

Here i would mention that Bukhari choose to include none of them in his collection.

and also

  • Most known hadith

In the most know hadith, i will quote the "Quran and Sunnah" hadith.

Also, poiont out that it is not recorded in Bukhari or Muslim, then show that it occurs two times, one without isnad, and the other time with Abu Hurraira. That would make a fine contrast to the 120+ first hand narrators of "quran and Ahl al-bayt". --Striver 00:52, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I dont know Striver. Honestly, Im not very knowledgeable in this issue. My knowledge on the details of hadith-ology is superficial for this job. I'd have to do alot of reading on this issue first. (Especially if we're going to overcome Zora's usual objections). I feel I can contribute more proficiently elsewhere (on what I already know). The best I can do is back you up here and there.
But Im not sure if that's OK with you? (wink wink)--Zereshk 01:41, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Bro, your doing WONDERFULL on your front, we both do what we can! Keep an eye on this page to keep in touch, and by the way, i would appreciate to see you writing on this guild the articles you create, work on or are have plans with, in the same way i do :) Peace! --Striver 02:20, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
