Lead

Per WP:LEADCITE, unless there are contentious facts, don't cite anything in the lead. Since the lead is a summary of the entire article, anything that you would cite in the lead should be covered sufficiently in the article.
Conversion from kilometers to miles is inconsistent, especially with the density figures. I recommend using {{Convert}} for everything just to be safe. I'll do a few of them myself.
Avoid false precision. Example: 3.314 million km, but only 2.1 million miles
I would move the density figures from the US, China, and Brazil to the main section of the article. They seem out of place in the lead.
This is an article about India, monetary figures should be in INR, with USD and/or EUR conversions.
