Template:Infobox Motorcycle Specifications (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

This is redundant because it duplicates what already exists at {{Infobox motorcycle}} - a template that is used on hundreds of motorcycle articles. The infobox is only used on three articles, so now is the right time to kill it, before it spreads. Biker Biker (talk) 20:02, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Response: It is certainly worth discussing within the motorcycling wikiproject. The existing infobox has been rationalised somewhat over the past year or so, reducing the number of fields, but new fields could be added if consensus were reached within the project. --Biker Biker (talk) 09:56, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked at every usage of this template on the articles where it was used. It adds nothing to the articles that isn't already done by other templates, article text, or categories. It's not useful for navigation or any other purpose, and the defining term "Greater China" is nebulous, resulting in arguments. SchmuckyTheCat (talk) 06:53, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Mobile Suit Gundam series coding edit

The result of the discussion was Substitute and delete for now as it is currently only used on one article (List of Universal Century vehicles and craft). Comment I though that this was still in use by an article, not sure if it was a character or mobile weapons list, in part because the list hadn't yet been separated by series. - Comment I'll should also note that the original template was a legend to denote which entries on the list belong to which series and was not a navbox or a sidebar to aid navigation. So it really can't be compared with {{Mobile Suit Gundam}}. However, these was inappropriately changed just prior to the TfD nomination. --Farix (Talk) 13:31, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. Just wanted to note that if the only intended use of this template is in a single article, then you could create a table within the article itself rather than using a template.
