Wikipedia:Meetup/SeattleWLL/2011
Wikipedia Loves Libraries is an event to promote local meetups for discussing libraries in individual cities. Wikipedia depends on content from media sources, and libraries are the source of sources. At this Seattle meetup, one of the topics to be discussed is the extent to which the Wikipedia articles for libraries in Seattle are descriptive enough about the collections contained in each library.

- Intro to Wikipedia
- Meeting other Wikipedians; considering possibilities for collaboration
- Adding descriptions of the collections to every library's Wikipedia page. Even the Wikipedia entry for the Seattle Public Library, the major public city library, gives very little information about the library collection itself. Is the information which is already here sufficient, or should more be said?
- Who would be interested in a monthly meetup?
