Original – Capri Island panoramic view from Piazzetta, located in the centre of Capri Island. The image covers almost 180 degrees, facing west is the big mountain (in the middle) called Monte Solaro, 589 mts a.s.l. Little part of Naples is also seen at the right of the image (facing north).

Reason: A high quality image, with good lighting conditions and nice blue skies, which significantly adds to the articles of Capri island (previously missing high-quality images), and give a clear view from the very much frequented by tourists belvedere in Capri centre.

Support. Beautiful picture with reasonably high EV. I could even spot the luxury yacht A (Project Sigma) to the far right. The photo could however be moved higher up in the Capri article. Ottojula (talk) 16:56, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- I share his feeling too: the actual image is larger on the right: but there's a column on the way (like the ones visible on the left) which messes up the composition. Sadly, there is an intern handrail and an extern column: I couldn't avoid its appearing on the panoramic, so I had to crop it away. --Paolo Costa 12:38, 1 December 2011 (UTC).[reply]
