Removal of importance parameters from talk page project banners edit

Hi, Could you explain these two diffs: 1 and 2? The importance parameters help the relevant wikiproject members to prioritize when they are fixing/improving articles. I think that you are doing it to only redirect pages, but even those need to be maintained sometimes. You are welcome to disagree with the importance that was assigned and change the value as need be. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:38, 31 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@MPGuy2824: For redirects, it is dubious to believe it somehow helps the project. And guidelines that importance is not required, is quite clear, unless overridden by specific project. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 06:04, 31 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Indic Script consensus edit

Please kindly read my discussion under User_talk:Javierfv1212#Replacing_Devanagari_with_Brahmi and User_talk:Symphing12#Aṣṭādhyāyī and maybe let's begin anew a talk about consesus on using Indic Scripts, because I think those contained in Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics/Archive_48#Native_languages_in_lead (re:lead)] and Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics/Archive_64#Multiple_Indicscript_in_infoboxes_are_out_of_control (re:infobox) are dated. noychoH (talk) 21:45, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the invite, but no, thanks. I don't have the expertise in this area. And I definitely don't have the patience to first read all the discussions, and secondly even remotely help in this matter. There are enough know-it-alls in Wikipedia to take care of whatever guidelines, consensus, etc., are supposed to be a good standard for this encyclopedia.
Oh, and by the way, the way the total nonsense that has been included in Indian Classical music "raga" articles, I think Wikipedia deserves to go the downhill it is headed anyway. At least, with respect to articles related to India.
