Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.--JoanneB 14:34, 1 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

In regards to my warning edit

I don't believe I'm the one who deserves a warning. The information User:Deathrocker keeps reverting to is highly inaccurate, and I've tried continuously to make him aware of this but he keeps disregarding it. First of all, the term "mallcore" refers simply to numetal, not metalcore. I tried adding information to elaborate on this (even adding the reason for why the term "mallcore" is used, but he deleted it as being "unfound" in his opinion). Furthermore, his claim that the term mallcore is used by fans of "extreme metal" is also incorrect, as the term is used in general by many different types of metalheads, but most often, metal elitists. I'm just trying to make the article as informative as possible, even making changes with several edits to try and compromise but he is just being unreasonable about it. You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. It doesn't matter who's "right" and who's "wrong." Both of you are being blocked for a 3RR violation. Next time, if you find yourself reverting more than once, work out your disagreement on the talk page or on the other party's user talk page. howcheng {chat} 19:07, 2 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Username edit

Your username is a violation of Wikipedia's username policy. Usernames that contain profanity are highly controversial and attract negative attention to the user, as well as offending (and thus creating discord with) other users. The standard response to a username policy violation would be to place an indefinate block to force a username change; however, since you have already begun actively contributing with this username, it would be unfair to force you to abandon these contributions. Please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Changing usernames to request a new username that is in line with our username policy. Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated. AfD nomination of Miasma (band) edit

I have nominated Miasma (band), an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Miasma (band). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Guy (Help!) 22:11, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
