Please help with usability testing edit

Hello! The mw:Anti-Harassment Tools team is running a usability test to find out how and where IP addresses are used when patrolling wikis, particularly when patrolling RecentChanges. This could include New Pages or RecentChanges patrol. We want to see your patrolling process and get your views on some prototypes. Getting your perspective would be really helpful to us at this stage of the process. If you’d like to help, and have 30 minutes to spare, please fill out this Google form with your details: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjYyRNGMkO4_TdNOgG4qmK9cp9YOKzM4GFO5pTd_bEcu23YQ/viewform

For the purpose of the tests we’ll be using Google Forms for recruitment, and UserTesting.com to conduct the actual tests. Please review the privacy statement and release form in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ijmwrIoNO0W1p_zfFU1LBf3_6mFF53kUUFy1L_DCUKc (Google docs link)

Plumber troll/vandal edit

Please read Wikipedia:Deny recognition. It is not helpful to tell a troll that their vandalism "adds excitement" to an article. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 21:04, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

When people blank warnings edit

Hi there. I understand the desire to revert when people blank warnings on their User Talk pages but they are allowed to do this and it is actually for the good when they do this. You see, by blanking the warnings this proves that they have seen them and, far from hiding their misbehaviour, it just serves to prove that any subsequent disruptive behaviour is knowing and intentional. The final warning still stands. If you catch them doing any more vandalism then you can take it straight to ARV. --DanielRigal (talk) 22:49, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your user page says you're a guy. edit

If that's in fact true then you are probably biased against the truth about guys which makes what you think an opinion as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.136.73.175 (talk) 18:38, 12 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:41, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
