Now you have rightly ruled that in this article, specific dates need not be included. In that case you should have allowed the text Cholas lost Gangavadi to Hoysala Vishnuvardhana in the 12th century before regaining it under Vikrama Chola. Instead, you have deleted the portion of regaining of Eastern Gangavadi under Vikrama Chola completely. I am re-adding the portion of regaining of Eastern Gangavadi by Vikrama Chola. As late as 1169, Raja Raja Chola-II has been sighted as having control of Eastern Gangavadi in two books by both K.A.Nilakanta Sastri and Sakkottai Krishnaswami Aiyyangar.Srirangam99 (talk) 09:22, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
