Do not ignore article notes. Box Office Mojo did not cite its source: Disney has never given the exact budget for the Pirates sequels. Alientraveller 10:14, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Spider-Man 3 edit

First, please do not add information without verifiable, reliable sources. Second, if you would please read the last couple sentences of the first paragraph of Spider-Man 3#Release. The information you are trying to add is already stated there.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:48, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, when you add information, you must always bring the source with you. Check out the rest of the article and how things are sourced. It also helps to check out what is already in the article to make sure you are not adding duplicate information. If you come across a large article and are not sure if it is in there, you can go to the talk page and ask the active editors of the page if it is included, or if it needs including.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:19, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Likewise for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Personal speculation is disallowed. Please desist from reverting edits contrary to Wikipedia guidelines and policies, as you already have once this cited page.--Tenebrae 00:58, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks and a request edit

Thank you for keeping box office statisitcs up to date in the various movie articles you work on (I see most of your handiwork at Iron Man). Keeping these up to date improves the quality and factual accuracy of the articles.

However, I would like to request that when you update the figures, would you be able to also update the date in the "|accessdate=" field of the associated citation? To the reader, it seems a bit suspect when the article claims a figure for July 20, but states that the source website was accessed on July 10.

Any queries or comments, feel free to drop me a line. Thanks in advance. -- saberwyn 22:56, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

You are now a Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 02:21, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sports transactions edit

For players like Aaron Brooks, we avoid WP:CRYSTAL by waiting for an official announcement. If you look at this source, it is prefaced by "person with knowledge" and later says "has not yet signed a contract". A report would just say something like "Aaron Brooks signed with Houston" with no preconditions or the "according to sources" caveat if it really went through. If you really wated to add something to an article, you would have to follow WP:ATTRIBUTEPOV and say that "XYZ reports that ABC has signed ...", but youstill should not update the infobox until it is official. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 18:06, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Twitter as a source edit

Thanks for your updates on Brooks' jersey number. When using Twitter as a source, you can give a reference to the URL e.g. https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/309091844615200769 in the edit summary by clicking on the tweet, then click "details" and getting the URL. It makes it quicker for others to verify. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 16:23, 6 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

God's Not dead box office gross edit

Hello SlashFox14. Recently you edited the gross of the film God's Not Dead as $55,564,000. This however is not the worldwide gross but the domestic gross of the film (ie., gross in USA which is the domestic market for the films since they are made here mostly). The worldwide gross is the sum of the domestic and foreign gross. You can see here that the domestic gross of the film is $57,528,000. However, the foreign gross is shown as n/a. But if you click on that foreign link which is marked in blue or on the foreign tab, the foreign gross for the film is given for 2 foreign countries which you can see here. However BOM has not included this foreign gross in it's worldwide gross. It is showing $57,528,000 as the worldwide gross of the film which is incorrect, The true worldwide gross of the film upon adding the foreign gross of the film to the domestic gross comes out to be $58,383,111. The box office of the infobox of a film is for the worldwide gross. The $57,528,000 figure you added is the domestic or American gross and not the worldwide gross. Your edit is therefore incorrect. Please stop doing this. I hope you will understand. Thank you. KahnJohn27 (talk) 09:00, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also, the Watch Disney XD app is not always on top of things and can be minutes behind, so it's not necessary to wait until it's aired on the Watch Disney XD app's live feature, it's necessary to wait until it's finished on TV so it's not exactly the same minute - I assumed the episode was airing minutes behind because it was closing out on the credits and the main episode itself has finished airing, giving us consistent English names to use. Just to let you know, it's okay for names to be changed if an episode has aired in other English speaking countries than the US so there wasn't a need to wait until "The Sun, the Scare, the Secret Lair!" aired in the US on June 3rd, as it already aired on TV in the UK on June 2nd, and the rule is for the episodes to air in English, not that they specifically air in the US. That didn't happen for the latest dub episode, but just to let you know that if an episode airs outside of the US in English, the names can be changed as long as the episode has finished then. Therefore, this edit could have been made starting June 2, 2017 at 7:20 UTC which is precisely the time when the episode finished premiering in the UK. The article for Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen was nominated by an IP editor who has not been picking up on this review which was started this last week. You are listed as one or two of the only editors in the top twenty editors for this article who have edited it in the last year or two. If you would like to pick up the edits for this assessment, I can then move forward. Or leave some comment; with no nominating editor this review cannot move forward in a practical way here: [1]. Jennifer Lee edit

Let me tell you about Jennifer Lee, she's a bad woman who's going to destroy our competition, and she's going to outgross The Lion King. If we don't do something about it, Jenny will take over the Walt Disney Company and we'll live in a bad future.

PS Now that Alan Tudyk is the current "good luck charm" at Walt Disney Animation Studios, I want John Ratzenberger out of Pixar, so we can have a new one, but this time for several films. (The way David Ogden Stiers has been through.)
