Disambiguation link notification for February 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chelsea F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Forward (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

March 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Zinedine Zidane may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 3 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Retired numbers edit

Hi there. Do you have a source for Zola's #25 being retired at Chelsea? This has come up before and the conclusion was that it has not been retired officially. Thanks. SteveO (talk) 14:05, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Infobox photos edit

Hi, I noticed that you've edited a lot of football player articles and replaced their infobox photos, often with blurry, wider shots. Please keep in mind that the point of infobox pictures is to show what the players look like, not necessarily show the latest photos. Tighter, portrait shots are better for this purpose. Thanks. Disambiguation link notification for March 18 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Josep Maria Bartomeu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spanish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2013–14 FC Bayern Munich season, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. August 2014 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2014–15 Chelsea F.C. season. You have been warned many times in the past. NO LOGOS!!!!! QED237 (talk) 10:42, 10 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently editing against consensus, policies, and guidelines, with no sign of taking any notice of messages about your editing. You have done this in a number of ways, including repeatedly adding versions of football kits which include logos, despite having received quite a number of messages explaining that doing so is unacceptable, over a period of almost six months. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and works by different editors cooperating, and discussing any disagreements they may have with a view to trying to reach agreement, not by individual editors ignoring what anyone else says, and pressing on with their own chosen version. When your block comes to an end, please be prepared to take part in discussions if you think there are good reasons for edits you made which others have disagreed with, and do not make edits which you know full well are against consensus. So far, the only edits you have ever made to any talk page are periodically removing messages from this page, without replying to them or showing any sign of taking notice of them. Considering the extent of your persistent editing out of line with Wikipedia's standards, despite having the problems explained to you, it is surprising that you were not blocked long ago. For now, this block is for just a week, and even that can be shortened if you can persuade an administrator that you have taken this message on board and will not continue in the same way. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:26, 10 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

August 2014 edit

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Paris Saint-Germain F.C., you may be blocked from editing without further notice. LRD NO (talk) 23:27, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • When this account was blocked for a while, the hope was that the block would make you take note of the messages about your editing, and that you would respond, make it clear that in future you would edit within Wikipedia's accepted standards, and start responding to messages. However, you have made no response at all, and have continued editing in exactly the same way as before. Your account has therefore been blocked again, this time for a month. I have given you information above about what to do if you wish to be unblocked. Since much of your editing is constructive, it would be a pity to lose you as an editor, so I do hope this time you will take note of what you have been told. Proposed deletion of File:Kit shorts CFC 03 05 White.png edit

The file File:Kit shorts CFC 03 05 White.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
