Yes, prose is pretty tough to get to top quality, and good copyeditors are hard to find. I'll try to find time to read through the article and see if I can help at all. As far as other people who might be willing to help, I'd suggest Accedie, Despayre, Rothorpe, and Allens. WP:Hinduism coordinator

WikiProject Hinduism is in need a volunteer coordinator. The volunteer coordinator would have the following responsibilities:

• Do whatever needs doing in the WikiProject Hinduism, or getting it done alongwith others.
• Do everything that needs doing in the WikiProject, or getting it done alongwith others.
• Look after the interests of the WikiProject community in general and the articles in specific.
• Represent the views of the WikiProject wherever representation/participation is sought; to get & put forward the community's viewpoint.
• Innovate and bring forth new initiatives, continue existing ones and retire defunct ones.
• Maintain the WikiProject infrastructure of pages.
• Community development - recruitment, motivation, empowerment.
• Join the mailing list for Wikipedians working on India related content on English Wikipedia (wikimedia-in-en [at] lists [dot] wikimedia [dot] org)

The Volunteer coordinator is a volunteer from the community and is answerable to the community. He enjoys the informal recognition and full support of the community. Glad you like it. And you get it — the ease of narrowing page ranges is one of the key benefits of this approach to referencing. Named refs encourage citing to wide ranges, often a whole book, and they frequently are expediently re-used when the named ref is to some other page range.

This tweak is about getting those long urls out of the middle of your paragraphs and would allow you to reuse them if needed by simply adding a {{r|Wilson p650}} somewhere. With {{r}} I don't recommend using the inline page option. Alarbus (talk) 00:58, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, again. edit should be undone. Two reasons: first it's simply complete information; the full citation should specify the full range of an article within a journal while the inline cites specify a page or range within an article (or omit it if referring to the whole article). Lost

I am trying to figure out where I can complain about something. I'm kind of lost, don't understand Wikipedia's complex structure.

My complaint: The subject of Paranormal, Psychic, Metaphysical, New Age, etc. The articles in Wikipedia on these topics are heavily biased towards the skeptical. I mean to the extreme! There is a total lack of objectivity. I've heard this complaint many times from my peers. What is causing this, and how can it be rectified? Is there a cabal of skeptical editors controlling this?

Can you direct me to whom I would complain and how to resolve the problem? I'd rather not do it article by article, as it is a broad spectrum problem.

Article title!

I have started two new articles:

• Karma Yoga by Swami Vivekananda
• Jnana Yoga by Swami Vivekananda

But, I am not sure of the article titles, we can not name Jnana Yoga & Karma Yoga, since there are articles on these (rel. Gita), and also we can not name Karma Yoga (book), since (I don't know any) but there might be other writers on this subject! Also can you tell me in File:Karma_Yoga_Swami_Vivekananda.jpg etc, in "date" section I have mentioned that, I have not got the front cover image of 1896 first edition book (which is in public domain), so I have used front cover of a recent edition of the book under fair use. But, the "date" section is not being displayed there. Is it expected to write only date or year in date? Is it really impossible to finish it within this review itself? Regarding merger

You have proposed to merge Yajna and Homa (ritual) without giving any reasons on the talk page. While Homa is a type of Yajna in Hinduism, the Homa article also has content related to Japanese Esoteric Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism and Jainism. Such being the case, a merger of the two is not workable. If you have reasons to suggest a merger we can discuss them here or at Talk:Yajna. CorrectKnowledge (talk) 17:37, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Orgy

I tagged the above article for Hinduism based on its being included in the Synoptic Outline of Hinduism from the Jones Encyclopedia of Religion, as can be seen at User:John Carter/Religion articles#Hinduism. It is also included in the outlines of several other major faiths as well, apparently because there are also in that book several subarticles relating to the topic of "orgy" in various religions or areas. I know at least Buddhism is included as well. Having not actually looked at the articles, I don't know all the relevant material, but I assume that the editors had a reason to include it. Re-assessment of article

Ahalya is the wife of the sage Gautama Maharishi in Hindu mythology. Many Hindu scriptures describe that she was seduced by Indra, cursed by her husband for infidelity, and liberated from the curse by Rama (an avatar of the god Vishnu). Created by the god Brahma as the most beautiful woman, Ahalya was married to the much older Gautama. In the earliest full narrative, when Indra comes disguised as her husband, Ahalya sees through his disguise but nevertheless accepts his advances. Ahalya and her lover (or rapist) Indra are cursed by Gautama. Although early texts describe how Ahalya must atone by undergoing severe penance while remaining invisible to the world and how she is purified by offering Rama hospitality, in the popular retelling developed over time, Ahalya is cursed to become a stone and regains her human form after she is brushed by Rama's foot. Medieval story-tellers often focus on Ahalya's deliverance by Rama, which is seen as proof of the saving grace of God. Once they arrive, I would start updating the article. And yes, I have access to JSTOR. So, if you find some reference available through JSTOR, please add them in the talk page. I will also do the same. The CNN-IBN documentary that you added (I have not seen it yet) would be valuable, I hope.

Yes I later found out that Mrinalimi Sinha's book does not really have any connection with the film. Anyway, I have began collecting the PDF of appropriate articles available through JSTOR. Explore my User:Titodutta/vector.js page. There are two dablink related scripts– one is Uchua's script another is User:Lilac Soul/dabsolve.js. I am not totally confident right now which script I am using! But, it is very helpful. I feel, you'll able find out easily. You can ignore those Mosnum Engvar etc scripts, those only quickly correct American British English mix up, DMY MDY mix up etc.

Also curious, do you use any old newspaper archive? I do not have JSTOR access, so, sometimes rely on tools like Google's old newspapers etc! For example see here you'll get some good old documents on Gandhi's arrests. See coverages of Independence of India in some newspapers. I found these very interesting.
