January 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Donner60. An edit you recently made to No New Friends seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 22:37, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

In reply to your message on my talk page: You inserted reference tags with no content; you left a stray link "rb2016.wix.com" which turns up nothing, and you do not otherwise provide a source for your edit. As further information, Wikipedia is not a blog or forum. It is an encyclopedia based on reliable, verifiable, third-party sources. It does not publish personal opinions, commentary or unsourced information likely to be challenged or disputed. See Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. I appreciate the further explanation and the working link. I wish the link had worked initially because that would have prevented much misunderstanding here and narrowed our discussion. Since I could not find your page or other information in an independent search, I suspected your claim may not be valid. I note that you are a legitimate producer and do have a claim to some credit for the original music. However, as noted, I could find no independent verification of those facts. That is not to say there is none but Wikipedia does require sourcing for claims likely to be disputed and does not accept blogs or web sites of the subjects as reliable (neutral) sources.
FWIW, you obviously are not the person I discovered with the Twitter account under the same name who claimed to be a producer in their only entry.
I hope you get the credit you deserve and can add something to the article when you can source it independently. Donner60 (talk) 23:38, 7 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
I removed Allen Ritter as a producer for No New Friends because he apparently was one of the writers but not one of the producers. I cite the source in the edit summary, namely http://istandardproducers.com/interviews/vinylz-no-new-friends/. I don't think it is worth citing in the article unless someone challenges my change. Cahokia edit

Try doing some research on Mound 72 at Cahokia. Also, that illustration is based on a repousse copper plate from the Mississippian culture, featuring a dancer with severed head and ceremonial mace, see here. Revert again, and it's off to the 3RR board. Happy editing. Heiro 03:17, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

And? Did the skeletons at so-called "Mound 72" tell anybody themselves they were beheaded in a sacrificial ceremony? How long will the simple love their simple ways? Happy trolling...just not here. BornAnomaly 03:40, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

Per this , please read up on the academic literature on Mound 72 and what was found there and how the archaeologists interpret it. A good place to start is here and here. As well as many books published by archaeologists who have excavated at that particular mound at Cahokia. Your personal feelings or interpretations on the issue do not matter. The academic literature is what will be featured here. Remove legitimate information again, call editors here "racist" in edit summaries again, and per our policies I'll take the matter up on the appropriate admin boards. Have a nice day. Heiro 22:17, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Heiro, are you okay? So glad the policies at Wiki are for both me and others; False-accuse me of calling someone racist again, threaten me again and per our policies I may take the matter up on the appropriate administration boards. Your personal interpretation of me and what I said don't matter either- only if policies were violated; I wish you a great life. Troll away, just not here. BornAnomaly 22:56, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

Again, I'm very busy; If there's nothing else concerning the Wikipedia entry in question, have a good one. BornAnomaly 22:59, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

You used an edit summary to say "Should narcissism and racism count as valid reasons for folk here to edit-war?" That's a clear accusation that an editor is racist. Do it again and I'll be the one going to WP:ANI - the only reason I haven't blocked you myself is that I've been involved in the article. Doug Weller talk 08:34, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

And I thought you said you weren't offended, Doug. You confuse assumption with accusation. You assume I bashed an editor, when I merely asked a question. Plus, I didn't even revert the edit, so no need to threaten me. You do as you see fit. But, as I assume everyone else is, I'm very busy. Unless there's anything else specifically concerning the article, you all have a great weekend. Best, BornAnomaly 14:57, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

June 2019 edit

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:BornAnomaly. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 05:33, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I attacked no-one, "Doug"; I, was personally attacked by being told, "Try doing some research", which was directed at me, not the content. I kept it civil. The "attack" was them refusing to produce true cited facts and not fake news; Vandalism and supposition damage my culture and community. I'd appreciate it if all trolling and gas-lighting stays off of my User/talk page. Thank you. BornAnomaly 11:00, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

That wasn't an attack, that was a suggestion, albeit a curt one, by an experienced editor. No one is trolling or gas-lighting. If you think they are you should report them at WP:ANI with evidence. Doug Weller talk 15:41, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Really busy right now, "Doug". If you're offended, I also suggest to report that to WP:ANI with evidence. Have a great life. BornAnomaly 16:14, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

I'm not easily offended. Doug Weller talk 11:08, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Good to hear, Doug. And I've already forgiven you two. Again, very busy here. If there's nothing else concerning the Wikipedia entry in question, have a great weekend. BornAnomaly 01:50, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
