Ramondt
Hi there all;
My name is Ramondt, and I am 47 years of age and an Afrikaans speaking South African.
I believe I struck gold when starting to read some articles on Wikipedia, especially the ones dealing with transgender issues.
I am what you would call alternately a "third-spirit", an androgyne and so the list goes on and on. I never knew so many people all over the world
have the same issues I have, wow!
The problems and blessings I have are numerous, but the biggest one is 1) The way others view me (2) Using public utilities without being laughed at, shouted at or being pushed around; (3) Dealing with scrutiny and opinionated folks.
Due to my transgender issues, I work from home. I do not quite fit in with the normal he-she crowd even though folks generally like me, until they know that I am not quite what they thought me to be at least.
I write poetry in my spare time, read a lot and love playing Skyrim, the PC game. I do see myself as an intelligent human being, and truly speaking, have come to think of myself as "I am who I am and what I am".My spirit and my body are in constant battle; for now I am beginning to get used to it.
Would anyone with related issues like to talk with me via this page? I have been happily "married" for 20 years, am truly neither male nor female and can pass for either (and usually do). I just sometimes like to talk about some issues that family members do not seem to understand.

Wiki Loves Pride 2014 edit
Hi Ramondt. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.
We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.
