Don't worry

Jyothis, please don't worry about that. He is free to disagree with the decision, but the collective decision taken by community, to retain the article, will stand. It could just be that Ageo020 genuinely thinks even now that Pradeep is non-notable, and his opinion is not out of any spite against Pradeep or someone else. Assume good faith :-) Tintin (talk) 05:10, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry

Hey, I guess my actions on Pradip's deletion review were churlish. It was just that the article first was a WP:AUTO and written by a user of the same name. Hence, I had opposed it. Now the article does look good and had this article been there first, I would have given a Keep vote for it. Anyway, sorry if my actions caused you any trouble or a loss of your peace of mind. Let bygones be bygones and move forward. Hope you keep on contributing.

Anyway, about the above statement of Tintin, I had written those messages, long before the deletion article was voted to Keep. But as you are a new user, you probably didn't realize it.

Sorry again,

Possible solution for LisaNovaPic.jpg OTRS issue

To Jyothis (who inserted an "OTRS Need Clarification" template in File:LisaNovaPic.jpg ). . It appears from MaggieNova's original "Summary" statement that she is the original copyright owner (like a work for hire). Therefore it is my understanding (you should verify) that there should be no need for separate OTRS confirmation in the first place. MaggieNova has (understandably) had some difficulty navigating Wikipedia procedures (see User_talk:MaggieNova), which may explain why she may have (apparently) sent an unnecessary OTRS email in the first place. Since she licensed under CCSA when she originally uploaded, everything appears to be in order without OTRS confirmation. This is just my understanding as a non-administrator looking at the File:LisaNovaPic.jpg history, but in any event, MaggieNova probably needs more specific help than your "OTRS received--Need Clarification" ticket provided, and she does not apparently know how to check talk pages, etc. You may have to send email. If she has sent an additional email in response to your Oct. 31 OTRS notice, then everything I say may be obsolete! RCraig09 (talk) 05:22, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikimania Scholarships

Hi Jyothis,

Could I ask a favour off you please? I noticed you recently posted information on the Manx language wikipedia relating to the Wikimania Scholarships. In future, when you are posting information, can you make sure to observe where you are posting that information to. That page was a redirect page and by posting the information there you were denying people the possibility of viewing that information as well as placing an excess load on that page. We do appreciate your providing information to our small project, and we hope you continue to do so. If you have any questions about where to post information or contribute in any way, just contact me on my talk page on the Manx wikipedia.

Hi there! WP:INCOTM is a WikiProject where editors from different parts of India choose an article and work on it collaboratively throughout the month.
It is a great opportunity to interact with experienced editors from the community and to get the feel of collaboration - one of the reasons and advantages of editing Wikipedia!

This month, Anil Kumble has been the article chosen for GA/FA of the month. And you being a fan of Indian Cricket team, I invite to you to join this collaboration and contribute in making Anil Kumble a good article. BPositive (talk) 06:45, 1 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
