A tag has been placed on your user page, User:ItsSahilJain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bgwhite (talk) 07:58, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Shantanu Maheshwari (actor) edit

The article Shantanu Maheshwari (actor) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I don't think this person meets the criteria as Notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kishinchand Chellaram College edit

I'm afraid you can't keep trying to add yourself to an article, like you have attempted to do several times. Please desist. --nonsense ferret 21:48, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Further to your comment on my talkpage. The reason your edits are not acceptable is because only 'notable' people should be added to articles. For this purpose wikipedia would consider notable to mean someone who meets the guideline at Wikipedia:Notability (people) - which could be summarized as applying to someone written about in multiple well known publications such as national newspapers. Since you do not meet this guideline, you must not attempt to add yourself to articles in this way. --nonsense ferret 21:56, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
