Al Gore

Under his awards you list National Defense Service Medal. Having served more than 30 days in South Vietnam you should also list the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal and the U.S. Vietnam Vampaign medal. Not sure if any stars are on that as his unit record would have to be checked. He is also supposed to have been awarded first award of the U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal. These are all standard issue for service. His DD 214 would have to be checked to see if he received any commendations, which is likely. He would also be entitled to wear any unit awards awarded to his unit even if he only had one day of service during the period covered by the award.
