Hassocks5489 is busy in real life and may not respond swiftly to queries.I have a number of off-Wiki commitments at present, in particular several publications and research projects I am working on in connection with my interest in modern British railway tickets. I will still be checking Wikipedia daily and monitoring my Watchlist and talk page. I hope to resume more regular activity later this year. |

Spoken article review edit
Hi there, just wondering if you're still planning to review the audio file for the George Washington article as per the Spoken Wikipedia review list. If not, it's totally fine -- feel free to remove yourself from the list or I can do so. If you have already recorded the file please let me know. Thank you. |

Phone number for public phone box edit
Hi, Hassocks5489.
I was pleased to see your photo of the K6 phone booth outside St. Mary's in Shoreham. Would you happen to have a phone number for it (if it indeed remains a public phone box with a number)? I am setting up an Easter Treasure Hunt remotely, using Google Earth, and would very much like to enable a small boy to cause the phone to ring. I'd be grateful f you could reply to gordonink at gmail.com before April 2nd, 2015.
Thanks in advance for your attention to the above,
Gordonink

DYK for Lewes Friends Meeting House edit
On 18 March 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lewes Friends Meeting House, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Lewes Friends Meeting House, built in 1784, replaced an earlier building whose proximity to a slaughterhouse made it "unfit to sit in"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lewes Friends Meeting House. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Lewes Friends Meeting House), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed.
