People's Park edit

Thanks for adding the bullets to "Subsequent History" and for separating out the information on Rosebud Abigail Denovo.

Actually I'm wondering if the Rosebud Abigail Denovo information belongs here at all. It has very little to do with People's Park. What would you think about eliminating it entirely?Founders4 08:58, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Newton edit

Thanks for restoring the disambig. If you were curious, the tag was there a few hours before, it had just got lost after removing some vandalism. Cheers LukeSurl 23:27, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Security recommendation edit

Hello Eptin - This is to let you know that there has been a recent rash of account compromises, which appear to relate to links to social media websites that appear on userpages. I note you have a lot of links on your page. I'd like to suggest that you consider deleting these links. At a bare minimum, it is really important that you ensure that your Wikipedia password is not the same as the password for any of those sites, several of which have had security breaches. Thanks very much for your continued work on Wikipedia. All the best, Risker (talk) 05:14, 4 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Risker: Hello Risker, thanks for letting me know about the security risk with the social media accounts. All of the social media sites that I link to have a unique password. I try to eliminate password reuse as much as I can. Cheers, Eptin (talk) 02:59, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for confirming that you're using best practices when it comes to passwords. It gets very complicated to reinstate accounts that have been compromised, especially if the user doesn't have email enabled. All the best in 2019 to you and yours. Risker (talk) 03:09, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for February 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Detroit Athletic Club, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portland. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
