Congrats on becoming the 5000th editor to have rollback rights! Hope you use it well... Minimac (talk) 16:37, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why did you revert, call it vandalism and report it to AIV? 98.248.41.128 (talk) 23:46, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Huggle does that automatically and I was going to write a more descriptive report before the article was deleted, saying that he kept removing speedy deletion templates, adding his signature to the article, etc. Cody574 23:48, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

WHGO edit

Oh, nothing personal, and it wasn't straight deletion - I clarified your first edit to say that the countdown is going out on the online stream (which is all we can confirm from the given source; do we know if it's going out on the radio as well?), and I cut the facepunch.com reference you added because forums don't meet WP:RS requirements for sources. I dropped the countdown from the article lead because it maybe didn't seem that significant in the wider picture, but maybe it's worth adding that back, in retrospect. --McGeddon (talk) 08:45, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reconfirmation diff to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Subscribe edit

Hello. This is a message to inform you that your name has been removed from from the list of Wikipedia Signpost subscribers. Do not worry; this is simply a method of reforming the Signpost so that automated bots do not fill up retired users' talk pages with Signpost subscriptions (see discussion here) and to make life easier for the Signpost. If you wish to re-receive subscriptions, please send a reconfirmation edit to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Subscribe by signing with

  1. MessageDeliveryBot [you can also use a user talk subpage (like
  2. MessageDeliveryBot, replacing SUBPAGE with the subpage for the delivery), but this won't trigger your "New messages" bar.] Thank you for understanding.

Re Bernard Finnigan edit

Those links are perfectly functional for me. You are obviously subject to some kind of censorship. I have posted archive links in the article Talk page that should work.. if they don't, they have been censored too. Nevard (talk) 05:32, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I never said they were not functional - I never even posted on the Bernard Finnigan talk page. I believe you are mistaking me for Calabe1992. Cody574 05:35, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hmm. I suspect you are recieving a censored version of the articles when accessing them on the original server. The original version, available in the archive links I've provided, does mention Finnigan by name. Nevard (talk) 05:42, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

One of the links that was posted (referenced on the talk page) was returning a "page cannot be found" when posted but is now functional. Calabe1992 (talk) 05:44, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop undoing this user's blanking of their talk page, they have every right to blank it (see Wikipedia:User page#Removal of comments, notices, and warnings). Hut 8.5 21:37, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Wikipedia 15 in Winnipeg edit

Wikipedia is celebrating its 15th birthday on January 15, 2016. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to meet some local wikipedians. According to the wikipedians in Winnipeg or Wikipedians in Manitoba category you are one of us. I am contacting people in this category to say: Let's celebrate this milestone. If you know other wikipedians, please ask them to join in as well.

I am posting this to your talk page as a transclude so that any updates will show up automatically.

Hope to see you there! Tenbergen (talk) 04:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

One other Winnipeg Wikipedian showed up, in addition to a number of regular skullspace members. It was nice to actually talk to someone else who has worked with Mediawiki and actually "gets" transclusion. Cake was eaten! Tenbergen (talk) 06:37, 16 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Aw, apparently I haven't logged in to Wikipedia in over 6 years and I totally missed this message and the event! I guessed I missed any 20 year celebration, too. Let me know if you end up doing a 25 year one. :) Clayton Rumley (talk) 22:52, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey edit

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
