This is generally frowned upon because it splits the page history and that is required for attribution. AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

Greetings!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.

On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:

I've always found it hard to obtain release date info from RS and non-commercial, non-promotional sites. About adding non-free cover arts

Hello! I was trying to upload the cover art for Glorious Game through the File upload wizard, following the guidelines about non-free content and your previous additions for Black Thought's albums. However, something must have gone wrong in the process, since I simply got re-directed to this page and nothing else happened...

This was the first time I've ever attempted to upload an image on this site, so I wanted to ask you for some advice, please. It would be greatly appreciated!

Try this...1) Click "upload file" on the left side of screen (after exiting this talk page). 2) Click "upload non-free file". 3) Click "This is a copyrighted, non-free work". 4) Click "This is the official cover art of a work" and just fill out the rest of that upload form (try to upload only JPG or PNG files, or else you could run into issues).
