Educational institution IP address
This IP address, 128.240.229.7, is registered to Newcastle University (UK) and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. If the institution uses proxy servers, this IP address may represent many users at many personal computers or devices. For this reason, a message intended for one user may be received by another, and a block intended for disruptive users may also affect innocent users. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. Sometimes, in response to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to create an account.
If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Schoolblock. |
Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled.
If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by filling out this form. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. If editing is required for class projects, please have your instructor or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at the Unblock Ticket Request System with a contact email address that is listed on your school's website. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Scott Sinclair. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Neurosurgery with this edit, did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Deep house, especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. Making fun of homosexuals is not an option here on Wikipedia. Lighthead þ 02:16, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Charles Watson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Tobias Bergemann (talk) 12:31, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
