StinkyKids(www.stinkykids.com) was created by award-winning children's author, Britt Menzies after her daughter requested to be painted as a ballerina. StinkyKids comes from the phrase "little stinKers," a term of endearment that represents the innocent, mischievous behavior of kids and their on-going explorations through life. StinkyKids has evolved from an original painting to a multi-dimensional brand that inspires and engages children.
Meet The StinkyKids edit
The StinkyKids are a group of 10 diverse characters who sometimes get into mischief, and always help each other out of a jam. They are just like real kids who enjoy jumping in puddles, getting dirty int he sand or laughing from a funny noise. Kids we can all relate to and take us back to our days of being little stinKers ourselves.
These little stinkers love a good belly laugh, act before thinking, get messy and are honest. They are smart, but ma not always make the right choices, and sometimes get into trouble. They are innocent, happy and enjoy simple pleasures. They are good kids. A little stinker or StinkyKid is not a bad kid and should not be labeled as one. They are empathetic, thoughtful and kind. Each StinkyKid is their own Superhero as they use there 'Leader Of Good' quality to help them get out of trouble and learn from their childhood mistakes.

StinkyKids creator is Britt Menzies, an award-winning children's author, mom, wife and entrepreneur who was inspired by her daughter's request to paint her as a ballerina. StinkyKids comes from the phrase "little stinKers", a term of endearment that represents the innocent, mischievous behavior of Britt's two children. Her family's everyday antics often provide content and insight into the StinkyKids and their hilarious adventures.
Britt's first three books, StinkyKids and the Runaway Scissors, StinkyKids See A Full Moon and StinkyKids Have A Heart have been awarded the Mom's Choice Silver Award for excellence in literacy. In addition to being a children's author, Britt was a contributor in Chicken Soup for the Soul, an inspirational book by Jack Canfield released in 2009. In 2008, Britt was chosen by Bloomingdale's as a WOW! Women to Watch finalist for her work in developing consumer products based on the StinkyKids brand.
One of Britt's proudest professional achievements occurred in 2012 with the debut of StinkyKids, The Musical, a family production based on the StinkyKids books and characters that appeared to sell-out crowds on Broadway.

StinkyKids, The Musical edit
StinkyKids came to life on stage in Spring of 2012 through a family-oriented musical that debuted on Broadway and was originally produced by the award-winning Vital Theatre Group. The books and lyrics are written by Sammy Buck, and music composed by Daniel S. Acquisto. The original production was directed by Tim Drucker.
A hit Broadway show for families of all ages, StinkyKids, The Musical delighted audiences of all ages, and theater critics too! Each performance of the initial three runs were SOLD OUT and now the show is available to license worldwide with Theatrical Rights Worldwide (www.theatricalrightsworldwide.com). It's first international performance debuted at the Lower Ossington Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Along with sell out crowds and incredible reviews, StinkyKids, The Musical won the 2012 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Family Show.

StinkyKids, The Musical Synopsis
StinkyKid Britt loves making everyone happy. But this girl who never gets in trouble is in a sticky situation – literally: She has an impossibly epic wad of gum stuck in her hair. All of Britt’s friends are depending on her parents to take them to the new MegaJumper 3000 at Captain Happy’s Jumpy-Fun-Super-Bouncy Indoor Place, so she definitely doesn’t want to disappoint anyone. Britt must rely on her mischievous friends to help her before her parents find out, as they embark on an unexpected adventure across their neighborhood.
Live Action/Animation Project edit
In 2012, StinkyKids entered into a project collaboration agreement with Jarrett Creative Group [Creative Group] (www.jarrettcreative.com) to develop and produce a live action/animated series based on the award-winning StinkyKids books. The series, designed for ages 6 - 11, includes content for broadcast and digital distribution across multiple channels worldwide. Jarrett Creative Group along with Britt Menzies, the creator of StinkyKids are the Executive Producers of the series.

Series Overview
StinkyKids is a hilarious property that celebrates the endearing mishaps of childhood. The series features Britt, with flaming bright red hair and personality to match, along with her colorful circle of friends who get themselves into real-life mischief. Through a comedy of errors, these little stinKers learn from their mistakes, strive to make right choices and pledge to ‘Always be a Leader of Good’. In every fun-filled, heartwarming adventure, Britt and her friends use their individual strengths to navigate life’s journeys. How the StinkyKids get themselves out of a situation is where the real T-R-O-U-B-L-E begins.
Companion Website edit
The companion site to StinkyKids is www.stinkykids.com and was built by Biscuit Studios. It contains a Little StinKers corner filled with interactive games, fun coloring pages, animation and a section to meet each of the StinkyKids characters. Kids can write to their favorite little stinker and their favorite character will send a note back to them. Kids can also send in their own art work and see their masterpieces displayed on the website. The website also features a Parent/Teacher/Librarian corner with cleaver ideas for teachers to utilize the StinkyKidsbook and concepts into the classroom. In addition, kids can read StinkyKid Britt's Blog for all for the new StinkyKids adventures. There is a section to listen and watch some of the scenes and songs from StinkyKids, The Musical and photos of the StinkyKids products which include dolls, books, bikes, pillow heads and treats. (An expansion of the current licensing program is in the works with the help of ICM Partners as the agents for the brand.)
