I am Larry La Fountain-Stokes, Professor of Latina/o Studies and Spanish at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am the author of Queer Ricans: Cultures and Sexualities in the Diaspora (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 2009), which is a book about Puerto Rican LGBT migration and culture, and of Translocas: The Politics of Puerto Rican Drag and Trans Performance (Ann Arbor: University of Michigan Press, 2021), among other books. I am especially interested in Puerto Rican topics and LGBT topics.
