I believe that wiki's will one day replace TextBooks

November 19 is a special day for me...

I've a Masters in Education Technology from San Francisco State University. I worked hard to promote and deliver inexpensive networked classrooms using LTSP. In my old high school English Literature classroom I had over thirty-five fully networked computers providing internet access and word processing tools for all of my students. The whole network was built with donations and under 2000USD, of my own money. The whole thing would have not been possible without the help of a very supportive Linux User Group friend. I imagine now the whole thing could be done with Raspberry Pi for a fraction of the original cost. Why are there so few networked classrooms?!
