Hello, and welcome to my user page.

In real life, I'm a history graduate from a state college in North Carolina, and as of April 2013, I am officially a graduate student in political science. I'm twenty one years old, and I'm a colossal nerd. I enjoy video games, reading stuff by dead philosophers, and learning as much about science as I can cram into my brain. I speak fluent userbox when it comes to my preferences, though, so you can pick up on that in the side bar.

The articles I've written here are pretty varied. I've made contributions to articles on music in the past, I've written probably 75% of the starting articles for the Upper Xingu River tribes, and I'm a massive grammar freak, so I make edits whenever I see something that stands out to me as being grammatically fail-tastic (yes, I do get the irony, but I can invent my own words if I want to). I'm also a stickler for non-professional language on the wiki, which must be terminated wherever it is found.

At college, I was on the debate team, and I've traveled to Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, now along with Oklahoma and a brief airport journey in Texas, all so that I could argue with people about Yemen and Orientalism. I generally do pretty well, and I've won some awards. I'm also a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honors society.

Hopefully you'll enjoy the contributions I make, and hopefully I can add meaningfully to this vast compendium of human knowledge and what-not. Thank you for taking the time to read my rantings, and peace out.
