2nd year MS student in the Arizona State University Biology and Society program.

I'm currently working at The Embryo Project at ASU as a ~~n undergraduate researcher~~ graduate student research assistant. This is a History of Science project, using the FedoraCommons digital repository to create a library of encyclopedia articles and multimedia files pertaining to the history of developmental biology. It's a terribly exciting project!

My Master's thesis on the use of history and philosophy of science in secondary education in the US is... well, coming along.

I'm a female Wikipedia editor. I'm pleased that Wikimedia wants to improve representation of women among the Wikipedia editors, but it occurs to me that there's a fairly easy way to do that-- pay them. I wouldn't even cost very much. I realize that that runs rather counter to Wikipedia principles, and I'm going to up my contribution rate regardless.
