Torrey Pines Stakes

The Torrey Pines Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually in early September at Del Mar Racetrack in Del Mar, California. Offering a purse of $100,000, the ungraded stakes is for three-year-old fillies and is run over a mile on Polytrack synthetic dirt. [1]

The Torrey Pines Stakes was inaugurated in 1976 and was run as a restricted overnight stakes from then to 2004.
