Tiffany Briscoe
Tiffany Renee Briscoe (born January 31, 1976) is an American businesswoman and the former [1]presidential nominee of the Boston Tea Party (BTP) in the 2012 U.S. presidential election. She is currently running for president as an independent.
Briscoe is the owner of Tiffany of Elegance, a retail store located in Maryland that specializes in apparel, handbags, and perfume.[2]
Briscoe registered with the Maryland Board of Elections in early 2011 as a write-in candidate in the 2012 presidential election, and was listed as registered Democrat.[3] Later that year, she sought the presidential nomination of the Boston Tea Party. She received the BTP nomination via the party's online nominating convention on December 23, 2011.[4]
On March 6, 2012 Briscoe was removed by the party membership as the BTP Presidential nominee.[1][5][6] Briscoe has since announced that she will continue her presidential campaign as an independent candidate. Her running mate is James Ogle.[7]
Briscoe resides in Laurel, Maryland.[2]
