Vinick and his campaign team take the opportunity to criticize Santos for the Bartlet administration's decision to stop their investigation of the shuttle leak. Greg Brock goes to prison for refusing to identify his source regarding the leak to a grand jury. Louise Thornton (Janeane Garofalo), a media consultant, is hired to help the Santos campaign, much to Josh's chagrin. The escapades of Santos and his wife in a hotel are reported in a tabloid; and Santos gets called up for his annual Marine duty.
