need photo category

To avoid overlapping categories and unnecessary complication for people requesting images would it be possible to change the needs-photo=yes from Category:Mountain articles needing photos to Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of mountains? Traveler100 (talk) 18:27, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

I think it's more relevant to WikiProjects in general and keeping things consistent (See this page for example: Talk:Mount Tanagra), all other WikiProject banners show the main text unitalicized. Ref or identifier

Various regions have a unique identifier associated with mountains... in the USA the United States Board on Geographic Names both sets an official name for peaks and assigns an identifier (the GNSID). Would it make sense to capture these identifiers in wikipedia? Brycen (talk) 07:38, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Could someone please adjust the banner so that Category:Automatically assessed Mountains articles is not required? The category is emppty and there are no bots that populate articles with this parameter anymore and haven't in a couple years. Thanks! Kumioko (talk) 18:47, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Change photo requests to image requests

As part of a nearly-completed shift to distinguish requests for photos from requests for images in general, it is requested that this template be modified to place talk pages in "Wikipedia requested images of..." categories, rather than the old "Wikipedia requested photographs of..." categories. As such, please supplement all references to "photo(s) of..." and "photograph(s) of..." with "image(s) of..." in both the template and its documentation, while maintaining backwards compatibility for the old "photo" parameters. In particular, change "photograph or picture" to simply "image". Note that the "Wikipedia requested images of..." categories have already been created.
