Bias edit

This template exhibits a male bias by its use of the man-and-man icon. Fortuynist (talk) 01:44, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I couldn't find an icon of two women holding hands. VoodooIsland (talk) 19:27, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I concur with Fortuynist (talk). It is indeed male-biased, and very unfair to lesbians. Additionally, the symbol itself is sexist in that it promotes the notion that only men wear pants (and that they don't wear skirts). In addition to being sexist, this may not represent a global perspective, which Wikipedia must strive for. I propose replacing the symbol with a rainbow flag, since that is generally regarded as a symbol for homosexuality. --N-k (talk) 22:46, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Verifying factual correctness edit

We should only add Quintana Roo and Alagoas to places where SSM is legal once we have more than the meager and disputable information we currently possess. If only a handful of people are being given legal rights, it can't be legal throughout the jurisdictions yet. Hekerui (talk) 16:37, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
