Other measurements edit

Should this include Mach number, Particle displacement, decibel, sone, mel, phon dB(A) DBrn etc.?

Particle displacement is in there now. --Kvng (talk) 16:12, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Surface edit

I removed Surface. I didn't see what this had to do with the subject. --Kvng (talk) 16:12, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

This template is a mess edit

It starts our associating p with both pressure and SPL, which is nutty. It probably needs U, the volume velocity, or velocity times surface area. Its history is complicated, and it includes concepts I'm not familiar with, like SVL, SIL, SWL, so I hesitate to jump in. Are these really sound measurement things? I see no sources on the linked pages for SVL, SIL, etc. Dicklyon (talk) 19:37, 4 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Here is a book with some of the terms, including symbols and reference levels. Dicklyon (talk) 22:48, 4 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
